Huge innovation on an extremely limited platform
INNOVATION WITHIN CONSTRAINTS
VRN appeared on Comcast's legacy guide and was a new model for developing quickly with a small team and pushing the boundaries of the platform. While the guide has limited memory and an ability to only display 12 colors in the interface, VRN was delivered as a channel. It showed what was live on each of the featured channels in the smaller windows, and moving the focus would switch the audio. Pressing okay on one of those windows would seamlessly tune to that channel, and it had a bonus of using a motion background.
